This class is suitable for age 14 +
Ballet
Whatever your background, be it commercial, hip hop, contemporary, jazz or
ballet this class is designed to help you progress technically and gain strength
in all aspects of dance. This class is based around the RAD technique with a strong emphasis placed on performance and expression.
Jazz Technique
This class focuses on improving strength and technique while exploring
a wide range of Jazz styles. Students are encouraged to also take ballet
and choreography to compliment this class and maximise creative
and technical development.
Choreography and Performance Dance
This is where all the hard work is put in to practice! You will learn new choreography each week,
covering many different styles from musical theatre show stopping numbers to the more
intense or quirky world of contemporary dance. We aim to have a variety of teachers for this
class enabling the student to work with the best of current performing and choreographic
talent. You will also have the chance to grow as a choreographer creating your own dances
and styles to achieve awareness and understanding of music, investigating stimulus, developing improvisation, and building on concentration and focus.
